In March we had brunch at an amazing little cafe in the Point Breeze neighborhood of Pittsburgh — the Point Brugge Cafe.
We all had the Liege Belgian waffles, similar to the picture above (I knew I should have brought my camera in!) but they were covered in a raspberry mango puree. Delicious!
We got to the Cafe about 10:15… too early! So we strolled around the neighborhood, checking out all the lovely homes. By the time we got back, there was a line to get in for the 11:00 opening. Luckily, it was a beautiful early spring day. We ended up getting the best seats in the cafe, at a little mosaic table next to a huge picture window.
Can’t wait to return soon for dinner: moules, frites and Belgian beer! I’ll be bringing my camera next time.
